A multi-joint exercise & concentric exercise, using a high cable with a pronated grip (lat bar attachment).
Considered a middle-back exercise, with the following muscle groups:
- targeted: lats and (mid) traps
- secondary: deltoids (posterior deltoid) and forearms (forearm extensors)
Level: beginner (less challenging than the pull-up).
Exercise grading: S.
An alternative to the pull-up, with a wider and more progressive difficulty range.
Not to be confused with supinated pull-down.
