Level: advanced (challenging movement stabilization due to weight well above the center of gravity, handled by spinal erectors).
Exercise grading: S (despite challenging stabilization).
More stable alternatives, using:
- Weights: weighted sumo squat or goblet squat
- Machine: Smith machine squat, hack squat, or, better still, pendulum squat
