A multi-joint exercise & eccentric exercise, on a machine, bilateral.

Considered a quadriceps exercise, with the following muscle groups:

  • targeted: quadriceps and glutes
  • secondary: hamstrings

Level: beginner.

Exercise grading: A (not S, because of the limited range of motion: the movement is mechanically less conducive to a deep stretch).
