A multi-joint exercise & concentric exercise, using a barbell with a pronated grip, with stiff legs (knees slightly bent, legs not fully extended).
Considered a hamstrings exercise, with the following muscle groups:
- targeted: hamstrings and spinal erectors
- secondary: glutes and quadriceps
Level: intermediate.
Not to be confused with deadlift or barbell good-morning.
It should be noted that, in a proper form, the workload should touch the floor, otherwise, the exercise is rather known as Romanian deadlift.
