A combination of 2 or more resistance exercises, within the same exercise repetition.
E.g.: burpee, clean + press, split squat + overhead press, single-leg deadlift + row, renegade row + push-up, TRX squat + row…
It should be noted that while it may be effective as an endurance exercise, it is not efficient for muscle strengthening, which is often limited by one of the muscle groups.
As a naming convention, combined exercises are often joined with a “+”.
Not to be confused with circuit training.
