vitamin E

A fat-soluble vitamin.

Including: Tocopherol (α-Tocopherol, β-Tocopherol, γ-Tocopherol, δ-Tocopherol) and Tocotrienol (α-Tocotrienol, β-Tocotrienol, γ-Tocotrienol, δ-Tocotrienol).

It is needed primarily as an antioxidant.

Some foods high in vitamin E: vegetable oils, nuts & seeds, peanuts, but also red peppers, spinach, avocados, or mangos.

It should be noted that vitamin E is expressed in α-Tocopherol equivalents.
